The act of gifting is tied closely to Christmas’s values of love and sharing. This festive period, Takashimaya Department Store wants to help shoppers contribute to the greater good while they go gift-hunting for their loved ones.

Since 2019, the store has been collecting presents for underprivileged children, and this year, it has included the kids from Children's Wishing Well (CWW) and Club Rainbow Singapore (CRS) in its Fulfil a Wish campaign.

Till Dec 19, shoppers can visit the stage area at Level 1 to contribute gifts to some 650 recipients between the ages of 7 and 16. Select a slip with a description of the beneficiary, and return with the presents you’ve bought.

The children from CWW have also painted 32 framed pieces that reveal what makes them happy. These will be auctioned through giving.sg and all proceeds will go to the group.
