It is easy to see why the new Mercedes-Benz GLB is the ride of choice for discerning drivers. The Mercedes-Benz intelligent voice assistant adapts to the driver’s preferred routes and car settings, offering suggestions for personalised entertainment and comfort settings when appropriate. With wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration fitted as standard, there’s no need to tangle with messy cables again. Enjoy easy access to music, podcasts, driving destinations and contact lists through a large high-definition infotainment display that takes centre stage on the dashboard.

Those who juggle work and play on the move will be pleased to know that the new GLB is equipped with an additional USB-C outlet, ensuring ample power to effortlessly charge multiple devices.

Another highlight of the latest MBUX system are newly designed displays – Classic, Sporty and Discreet – accompanied by 64 ambient light colours to suit every mood and style.

With its ingenious Variable Space Concept, the new GLB features seats that can be configured dynamically to suit the diverse pursuits of the family. The innovative design allows the easy folding and lowering of the third row of seats into the floorboard, liberating a generous boot space of up to 1,800L.

Safety remains paramount with the new GLB. The optional Active Steering Control features an upgraded Driving Assistance Package, which enhances the ease and comfort of Lane Keep Assist, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to secure travels.

Another option worth considering is the next-generation Parking Package. Supporting both longitudinal parking and 360-degree visualisation for camera-assisted parking, these features help make the new GLB suited for effortless everyday driving in the city.

POWERFUL EFFICIENCY

The improved GLB may be more fuel-efficient than ever, but it still feels fun to drive. The introduction of the 48-volt Mild Hybrid Drive system infuses an extra punch of up to 10kW (13hp) to the 1,332cc turbocharged engine, ensuring a smooth and instantaneous boost of torque whenever the road calls for it. The system operates seamlessly, allowing the driver to focus on the road while all aboard enjoy a spirited ride.
