Looks like Westlife's still got it. The Irish boyband’s new single Better Man topped the iTunes charts across the world within hours of its release on Friday (Mar 29). The “old school” video featured Kian Egan, Nicky Byrne, Mark Feehily and Shane Filan singing in a studio and spliced with scenes in a school.

Fans shared pictures of the single climbing the iTunes charts in countries such as the UK, Ireland, Hong Kong and the Philippines.

Bandmate Egan also celebrated with an Instagram post, thanking fans for their support. “No.1 on i tunes in the Uk and Ireland. Thank you all so so much! #BetterMan,” he wrote.

Fans aren't the only ones excited about the feel-good single. Ed Sheeran also showed love to Better Man, which he said he helped to co-write, in what looks like an IG Story that Westlife reposted on Twitter. The fellow Irishman has also written the band's comeback single Hello My Love.

Westlife confirmed they are performing in Singapore in August.
