Check out the latest offerings from Mediacorp's live commerce show, The Wonder Shop.
With Chinese New Year around the corner, The Wonder Shop, Mediacorp’s first live commerce show on mewatch, will showcase CNY goodies from celebrities.
This week’s lineup includes actresses Pan Lingling and Xiang Yun’s tangerine bak kwa and actor-host Ben Yeo’s lobster pen cai at discounted prices.
TANGERINE BAK KWA FROM PAN LINGLING AND XIANG YUN
Pan Lingling and Xiang Yun, who teamed up with local chef Cao Yong for their F&B brand Ju Xing Ji, are selling healthier renditions of festive treats.
This year, they've released a tangerine bak kwa, made from premium fresh Australian pork leg, as part of a collaboration between their Ju Xing Ji brand and heritage brand Kim Joo Guan.
The bak kwa is marinated using a “four-generation family secret recipe” before being manually charcoal-grilled. It does not contain any preservatives, meat tenderisers or artificial colouring.
It is currently selling at S$98 for 600g on The Wonder Shop, including delivery, with additional savings when you buy more.
Each box comes wrapped in a red and gold wave-print furoshiki Japanese cloth. Limited to just 900 sets, the bak kwa will be ready for delivery starting Jan 27.
LOBSTER PEN CAI FROM BEN YEO
Made by the executive chef of Ben Yeo’s seafood restaurant Tan Xiang Yuan, the Tan Xiang Yuan signature lobster pen cai consists of Australian lobster, braised abalone, Japanese scallops and a whole lot more.
Each order comes with a claypot and a thermal bag, and can feed up to six people. It will also come with free abalone fortune yu sheng worth S$88, while stocks last.
It is sold at S$498, but is now going for 26 per cent off at just S$368 on The Wonder Shop.
The lobster pen cai is only available for self-collection, between Feb 1 to 9.
Catch the livestream on The Wonder Shop on Jan 16, 7.30pm, on mewatch and Facebook.
