Muslims who are shopping at FairPrice this Ramadan need not worry about missing their iftar meal as the supermarket chain is giving out snack packs to Muslim customers at over 60 FairPrice stores from now to Apr 9.

On Tuesday (Mar 12), FairPrice Group announced that the snack pack distribution will be held at 61 stores, 30 minutes before and after iftar – the fast-breaking meal observed by Muslims in the evenings of Ramadan. Each snack pack contains dates, biscuits and drinks. The full list of FairPrice outlets with these snack packs can be seen on this website.

Over 60,000 iftar snack packs will be given out during this period, while stocks last.

FairPrice Group will also have a slew of wholesome activities during this festive season. There will be two Hari Raya block parties held on Apr 20 at Bedok North and Bukit Batok where participants can enjoy festive games and a photo booth.

There will also be discounts on Ramadan and Hari Raya essentials till Apr 17, which can be seen on this page.

FairPrice Group CEO Vipul Chawla said in a press release: “Ramadan is a time for compassion, reflection, and communal gathering, and we understand its significance for the Muslim community and Singaporeans.

“We are grateful for the opportunity to support our Muslim customers through our community engagement during this period and remain committed to keeping the season’s essentials within reach for all."
