Sweet-tooth Singaporeans can now indulge in Janice Wong’s dine-in dessert experiences at home
Aptly billed as 2am: Dessertbar At Home, dessert lovers can choose from a carefully curated selection and re-create the magic by plating their favourites at home.
With COVID-19 impacting the local hospitality sector over the last few months, Singapore’s F&B scene has fought back by providing culinary lifelines in the form of special menus and delivery.
Award-winning pastry and dessert chef Janice Wong – who recently launched her online cake pack store Bake At Home – has now upped the ante by recreating her 2am: dessertbar special dine-in experiences for customers to take away and build at home.
Aptly billed as 2am: Dessertbar At Home, dessert lovers can choose from a carefully curated selection and re-create the magic by plating them at home. Dessert kits like these mean restaurant quality ingredients are now accessible to consumers in their own homes.
To make delivery smoother, they have partnered with Deliveroo, GrabFood and Food Panda to fulfil customers’ sweet tooth cravings island-wide.
“With the F&B scene evolving more onto online sales and delivery only, we decided to embark on takeaway experiences for people to enjoy at home,” stated the 2am: dessertbar press release. “We want people to still be able to have an elevated dessert experience at home, and we are bringing all the ingredients to you so you can have fun with the plating the creations.”
A bevy of delicious options that customers can now make at home range from classic dine-in favourite Chocolate H20 (S$22) to the simple and comforting Chocolate Tart (S$18) and fancier Strawberry Caprese (S$22).
