Have you ever bitten into an Old Chang Kee Curry’O puff and thought, “Gee… I wish these came in potato chip form.”

Your snack prayers have now been answered. Old Chang Kee is launching its first ever potato chips snack, which uses the same curry spices as the puffs.

The Original Curry Puff Flavour Potato Chips will be available at all Old Chang Kee outlets nationwide from Sep 15 with each pack priced at S$1.20.

This is a first for the homegrown brand, which took six months to create and perfect the chips, in celebration of its 63rd birthday this year.

“We worked very hard in getting the flavours just right for the Old Chang Kee Original Curry Puff Flavour Potato Chips, ensuring that the ingredients used closely mirror that of our signature recipe,” said Han Keen Juan, founder and executive chairman of Old Chang Kee, in a statement.

If you want to get your hands on these chips for free, Old Chang Kee will be giving away packs at 10 outlets on Sep 20 from 12pm to 1pm. The outlets are: Jurong Point, NEX, Toa Payoh Hub, Bugis Junction, Singapore Post Centre, Suntec City, Changi Airport T3, Wisma Atria, Novena Square and Chinatown. Only 100 packs will be available per store on a first come, first served basis.

Post-chips wet wipes not included.
