Blinks, mark your calendar. A documentary about K-pop girl group Blackpink is set to debut on Netflix on Oct 14.

Titled Blackpink: Light Up The Sky, fans will get a close look at the everyday lives of Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rose through exclusive interviews and never-before-seen footage.

The film culminates in their performance at last year’s Coachella festival where they were the first K-pop girl group to perform.

Light Up The Sky is directed by Caroline Suh, the creator behind Salt Fat Acid Heat, also available on Netflix.

According to the Netflix’s vice president of documentary features, Adam Del Deo, Suh is able to get viewers closer to the band because of her “trusted relationship” with the four members.

“Director Caroline Suh’s trusted relationship with Jisoo, Jennie, Rose, and Lisa offers organic and honest moments that give viewers an authentic inside look into the lives of Blackpink, as well as the dedication and gruelling preparation each member puts into every hit song, history-making performance, and sold-out arena tour,” he said in a press release.

The announcement of the upcoming film comes as the group is gearing up to release its first studio album on Oct 2.

The quartet have already released two successful singles from the album: How You Like That and Ice Cream. The latter song, a collaboration with pop singer Selena Gomez, debuted at No 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week.
