In the words of Arrested Development's Tobias Funke, "I just blue myself". Legendary theatre act Blue Man Group will be painting the town blue in January next year – performing a grand total of 16 shows, from Jan 16 to 28, at The Theatre At Mediacorp.
As part of the group's Bluevolution World Tour, the shows will see the iconic bald and blue trio entertain audiences with live music and comedy – without speaking at all. Exclusive to this tour is a new female character called The Rockstar who will replace the traditional band as a multi-instrumentalist.
Tickets for the 16 shows are available for purchase on Sistic, with prices ranging between S$98 and S$188. Singtel customers and Maybank card members will be glad to know that they can enjoy discounts of 10 per cent and 15 per cent, respectively.
In a statement to the press, Blue Man Group co-founder Chris Wink said: "When we first began creating performances centred on this innocent, curious character called Blue Man, we never dreamt where he would lead us. We are so honoured to be able to share our show with the people of Singapore and beyond."
