Xiumin to join the army next month, will be first EXO member to enlist
The EXO-CBX concerts in Japan this month will be the last major events featuring the 29-year-old.
Oh no, EXO-L! EXO's Xiumin will be the first member of the popular K-pop boyband to enlist in the army.
The 29-year-old – whose real name is Kim Min-seok – will begin his compulsory military service on May 7, Yonhap reported citing his management agency SM Entertainment.
The report added that that the EXO-CBX concerts in Japan this month are likely to be the last major events featuring Xiumin.
EXO debuted in 2012 and has nine members including Baekhyun, Chanyeol, Chen, DO, Kai, Lay, Sehun and Suho. The group was one of the top five on Forbes's Korea Power Celebrity list from 2014 to 2018.
