Stark, Targaryen or Lannister? Game Of Thrones-themed gaming chairs launched
Singaporean gaming seat maker Secretlab and HBO have collaborated to create some cool-looking chairs that are definitely more comfortable than the Iron Throne.
If you’ve been fantasising about what it feels like to sit on the Iron Throne after weeks of watching the climactic final season of Game Of Thrones, here’s an alternative that’s way comfier than all those mashed-up pointy swords.
Gaming seat maker Secretlab has just released, in collaboration with HBO Licensing and Retail, the world’s first official Game Of Thrones gaming chair, which comes in three limited-edition variants paying homage to Houses Stark, Targaryen and Lannister.
Aside from looking rather cool, the gaming chairs (which also seem perfectly suitable for the office as well) are all equipped with a multi-tilt mechanism, four-directional armrests and Secretlab’s signature cold-cured foam. These will be available in the company’s Omega and Titan lines at US$389 (S$530) and US$429 (S$584), respectively.
Said Secretlab CEO and co-founder Ian Alexander Ang in a media release: “Our designers, being huge fans of its aesthetics, came up with a few GOT concepts that looked so amazing that we had to reach out for a collaboration involving our award-winning chairs.
"GOT fans can now watch the much-awaited Season 8, repping their favourite houses, while reclined on our ultra-comfortable chairs."
