Here's what went down at the Gardens by the Bay and Mediacorp National Day Concert 2024

More than 20 artistes graced the stage at The Meadow, Gardens by the Bay on Sunday (Aug 4) for the sixth iteration of the Gardens by the Bay and Mediacorp National Day Concert.

The free event saw local entertainers including Benjamin Kheng, Taufik Batisah, Sezairi, Shabir, Olivia Ong, Rriley and more performing for the crowd.

Benjamin performed this year’s thoughtful National Day Parade theme song, Not Alone, near the end of the evening.

This was followed by a finale featuring Home and a medley of NDP songs Stand Up For Singapore, We Are Singapore and Count Of Me Singapore performed by all the artistes featured in the show.

But first, the festivities were kicked off by local artistes Bonnie Loo, Desmond Ng, Jeremy Chan and JJ Neo, as well as contestants from Juara Mic Junior and Yaar Antha Star, performing the rousing BTS hit tune, Butter.

Other performances include It’s You and Memory by Sezairi, Burn and Love Me Like A by Rriley and Like A Swallow, You & Me and Azure by Olivia Ong.

The event was graced by President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, who was the guest of honour, as well as his wife, Ms Jane Ittogi.
