Singer Halsey to headline second night of Neon Lights Festival in November
Singapore will be the only Southeast Asia stop for the Grammy-nominated artist who will debut a new audio-visual show with a full live band.
American singer-songwriter Halsey has been announced as the headline act for the second night of the Neon Lights Festival set to take place this November at Fort Canning Green.
The 24-year-old Grammy-nominated artist will perform on Sunday (Nov 24) where she is expected to debut a newly conceived audio-visual show with a full live band. This will be her only Southeast Asia stop.
Joining her on the second night will be Norwegian electro-pop artist Aurora, who last performed in Singapore at Laneway Festival in 2017.
Halsey last performed here in Aug 2018. She has since achieved multiple successes, including a collaboration with K-pop megastars BTS on the hit song, Boy With Luv. Halsey received six nominations at the MTV Video Music Awards late last month, including for Artist of the Year. She is set to release her third album later this year.
Aurora has released two EPs and two studio albums to date. Her most recent work was produced in two parts: EP Infections of a Different Kind – Step 1 released in 2018, and the follow-up studio album A Different Kind of Human – Step 2 released in Jun.
The other artists who have been announced to appear at the two-day arts and music festival are Mumford & Sons and Honne. They will perform on Saturday, Nov 23.
Early bird single-day tickets (S$108) for Sunday, Nov 24, will go on sale tomorrow (Aug 2) at www.neonlights.sg and Sistic at 9am.
Tier 2 tickets at S$128 will kick in once the early bird tickets have sold out. Fans who have already bought single-day tickets for Saturday, Nov 23, will have the option to add-on to the purchase with a two-day pass from tomorrow as well.
Neon Lights 2019 will take place on Nov 23 and 24 from 1pm till late at Fort Canning Green.
