Harry Morton, Hollywood restaurateur and son of Hard Rock Café co-founder Peter Morton, has been found dead on Saturday (Nov 23) in his Beverly Hills home. He was also the grandson of Arnie Morton, the founder of Morton’s Steakhouse.

Morton was discovered by his younger brother and was pronounced dead at the scene by the paramedics who responded to the call.

An autopsy is pending although there was no evidence of foul play.

Morton founded Mexican food restaurant Pink Taco when he was 18 years old, and the chain has several outlets across the US, including Boston, Las Vegas and Miami.

He was also known for a string of high-profile relationships with Hollywood celebrities, including actresses Lindsay Lohan and Demi Moore, and media personality Paris Hilton.

Lohan paid tribute to her ex with a post on Instagram on Monday (Nov 25) where she wrote: "Best friends. Best life."

Earlier this year, Morton had purchased the Beverly Hills house owned by Elvis Presley for US$25 million (S$34 million). He was also the owner of the legendary Los Angeles club, Viper Room.
