Harry Styles was out at night on Valentine’s Day (Feb 14) when he was robbed at knifepoint in the Hampstead area of London. UK tabloid, Mirror Online, reported the incident, which was confirmed by the Metropolitan Police.

The police statement read: “Officers were contacted on Saturday, 15 February regarding the incident which happened at 23.50hrs on Friday, 14 February. It was reported that a man in his 20s was approached by another man and threatened him with a knife. The victim was not injured however, cash was taken from him.”

The 26-year-old singer was said to be unharmed and walked away after handing over his cash.

A source told Mirror Online that Styles “played it pretty cool” and quickly gave the robber cash. He also kept the situation under control by keeping himself and the robber calm to get it over with.

"Understandably though it left him very shaken up afterwards,” the source added.

Despite the incident, Styles powered through and turned up at the 2020 BRIT Awards on Tuesday, where he sported a black ribbon on his outfit.

The black lapel pin is thought to be a tribute to the late Caroline Flack, who Styles briefly dated.
