Veteran Malaysian singer Jamal Abdillah will stage a one-night concert in Singapore on May 11. Held at The Star Theatre, the concert – titled Seniman Berjasa (The Meritorious Artiste) – will feature a slew of nostalgic songs from the 64-year-old singer.
Jamal Abdillah's singing career began in 1973. Since then, he has released multiple hits including Azura, Kekasih Awal Dan Akhir (First And Last Lover) and Ghazal Untuk Rabiah (Poem For Rabiah).
Also at the concert is guest star Francissca Peter. The singer-songwriter is famous for her evergreen tracks such as Aku Hanya Pendatang (I'm Only A Visitor) and Kehebatan Cinta (The Greatness Of Love).
Tickets for the concert are now available for sale via Sistic, with prices going between S$98 and S$188. Fans who purchase Cat 1 tickets will also get to attend a meet-and-greet session with Jamal Abdillah after the concert.
Jamal Abdillah and Francissca Peter were recently in Singapore for Mediacorp's Projek Kasih – a fundraising special for cancer patients. Speaking to Mediacorp's Berita at that time, Jamal said: "I'm grateful to have been chosen for Projek Kasih, and thankful that my talents can be used to get people to donate."
