Blackpink's Jennie establishes new agency Odd Atelier for her solo activities

The year 2023 has undoubtedly been a great one for Blackpink member Jennie. The 27-year-old idol made her acting debut on HBO, wrapped up a record-breaking world tour and was even made an honorary Member of the Order of the British Empire. Now, she's ending the year on a high note by announcing that she has established her own agency.

On Sunday (Dec 24), the You And Me singer revealed on her Instagram page that she has founded a label called Odd Atelier (OA).

Posting a series of black-and-white images, Jennie wrote: "Hi, this is Jennie. This year was filled with many accomplishments, and I’m so thankful for all the love I’ve received.

"I’m also excited about what’s to come, as I start my solo journey in 2024 with a company that I have established called OA. Please show lots of love for my new start with OA and of course, Blackpink. Thank you."

On its official Instagram page, OA (which was established in November this year) calls itself "a space that aims to create new things that attract attention in a different way from what is usual or expected". In addition to being an agency for Jennie's solo endeavours, OA also appears to be a fashion label, judging by a post which features Jennie and a group of people wearing OA-branded hoodies.

In any case, Jennie is poised to continue her string of success in 2024. She was recently announced as a cast member of the new variety show Apartment 404 and will continue being a member of Blackpink, alongside Jisoo, Rose and Lisa, after the quartet renewed their contracts for group activities with YG Entertainment.
