Jennifer Lawrence debuts her engagement ring at Paris Fashion Week
The Oscar-winner is engaged to art gallery director Cooke Maroney.
When actress Jennifer Lawrence’s engagement to art gallery director Cooke Maroney was announced on Feb 6, it was reported that he had given the Oscar-winner a “massive ring".
That "massive ring" made its debut at Paris Fashion Week as Lawrence flashed her rock for the cameras while at the Christian Dior show early Wednesday morning (Feb 27, Singapore time).
The ring features a gigantic emerald stone, which sits on a thin gold band.
The Hunger Games actress took the front row at Dior in a grey tweed dress with a collared neckline and a pleated skirt, seated beside model Cara Delevingne.
Lawrence was first spotted with the diamond last week during a girls’ night out in New York City. Prior to that outing, she had been stepping out wearing a gold band on her ring finger, with a small stone in the center.
It’s possible the star’s been wearing the same ring since her engagement, but with the diamond turned inside, and only now revealed the center diamond, wrote celebrity news site PEOPLE.
Maroney, 34, studied art history at New York University, and now holds a job as a gallery director and dealer at Gladstone 64. Celebrity news site Cosmopolitan reported that Maroney represents many famous art clients, including Lena Dunham’s father.
The couple reportedly met through Jennifer's best friend, Laura Simpson, and started dating in May 2018, according to Page Six.
Lawrence previously dated 49-year-old auteur Darren Aronofsky for over a year and fellow X-Men actor Nicholas Hoult before splitting in 2014.
