It’s a yes. Superstar singer Jennifer Lopez is now engaged to former baseball star Alex Rodriguez.

The former New York Yankee player posted on Instagram on Saturday (Mar 9) a photo of J Lo’s hand with a huge ring on her finger. “She said yes ♥️,” he wrote. Lopez also posted the same photo.

The couple have been on a tropical vacation for the past few days, sharing photos on Instagram, and the announcement came hours after Rodriquez posted an Instagram Story about the couple being soulmates.

“A soulmate isn't someone who completes you. No, a soulmate is someone who inspires you to complete yourself. A soulmate is someone who loves you with so much conviction, and so much heart, that it is nearly impossible to doubt just how capable you are of becoming exactly who you have always wanted to be," he wrote.

JLo and ARod began dating in February 2017 – and made their official debut as a couple a few months, later at the Met Gala.

This will be Lopez’s fifth engagement. She was previously married to (and have divorced) waiter-turned-actor Ojani Noa, dancer Cris Judd and, most recently, singer Marc Anthony, with whom she has twins. Lopez was also engaged for two years to Ben Affleck in the early 2000s.

Meanwhile, Rodriguez was married, to Cynthia Scurtis, with whom he has two daughters.

"We just love spending time together. Our kids love each other, so it's a good thing," Rodriguez once told Entertainment Tonight.  “It's a good time for us and it's great to be supportive and loving towards each other.”
