Cartier is celebrating the 100th anniversary of its Trinity collection with a pop-up at Singapore's Art House that's open to the public from Jul 15 to 23. A closed-door launch party held at Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore on Jul 10 saw Blackpink member Jisoo, Got7 member Jackson Wang, Filipino actress Heart Evangelista and more in attendance.
French jewellery house Cartier is set to celebrate the 100th anniversary of its iconic Cartier Trinity collection with a pop-up at Singapore's Art House from Jul 15 to 23.
In the lead-up to the pop-up, Cartier held a launch party on Jul 10 at Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore which saw many global celebrities in attendance, including singer Jackson Wang, Blackpink member Jisoo, Filipino actress Heart Evangelista, Thai actor Jeff Satur as well as Singaporean stars Zoe Tay and Jeanette Aw.
Jisoo's appearance, in particular, was a surprise as there had been no indication that the 29-year-old K-pop idol had left South Korea. Online fans even called her "a ninja", with one fan writing: "Another episode of Jisoo being a ninja because (in) her last update, she was filming (and) then now, she's in Singapore.
During the event, Jisoo was seen interacting with South Korean actress Roh Yoon-seo as well as Anne Yitzhakov and Yanina Novitskaya – the managing director for Cartier Singapore and the CEO of Cartier Southeast Asia respectively.
However, the Blackpink member's time in Singapore appeared to be brief as she was filmed arriving at South Korea's Incheon Airport on the morning of Thursday (Jul 11).
In a post on the fan messaging app Bubble, Jisoo uploaded a few pictures of her time in Singapore – one of which showed her holding a crab claw.
She wrote: "Blinks [fans of Blackpink]! I'm back in Korea. Haha. The weather in Korea is clear! It's not raining?! I was sad that my trip to Singapore was short but after finishing my schedules, we all ate chilli crab."
Cartier's upcoming Trinity 100 pop-up features seven interconnected rooms where visitors can learn about the history and legacy of the Trinity collection. There'll even be a music and light installation by Jackson Wang, as well as works by three Singapore artists – an engaging film by He Shuming, an interactive structure by industrial designer Olivia Lee and an immersive sound experience by composer-pianist Churen Li.
