Justin Timberlake treated airplane passengers to a surprise safety demonstration. The 44-year-old singer – who was travelling to Argentina, South America, for his The Forget Tomorrow World Tour shows – took over the jet's overhead speakers as he read the safety rules and a breakdown of the flight's route off a piece of paper to the busy cabin.

In a video uploaded to his TikTok account on Wednesday (Mar 19), Timberlake said: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to JT Live 25 South American Leg.

"The lifejacket is located in a pouch at the side of your seat. To inflate the lifejacket, pull firmly on the red toggles.

"If you have any questions, keep them to yourself.

"Oh, we’re just kidding. Please ask the crew."

The SexyBack hitmaker then went on to tell fellow passengers their flight path.

He explained: "We will be flying over the beautiful countries of Dominican Republic, Colombia, Brazil, Bolivia, until we make our way into Argentina.

"We thank you for flying JT Live 25 Air – it’s going to be lit."

His message was received with cheers and applause and the Mirrors hitmaker had eyes on him again later in the flight when he began playing golf on the aircraft.

Timberlake shared a video on Instagram of himself welding his putter and two balls.

And a voice in the background of the video said while Justin was showing off his golfing skills: "A number of players putt from the back part of the screen and the numbers have not been good."

After the star sent the balls rolling down the aisle, he followed them down to give some of the lucky passengers high-fives.

He captioned the video: "South America, here we come!"

The South America leg of Timberlake’s The Forget Tomorrow World Tour kicks off in San Isidro, Argentina, on Mar 21 before stops in Santiago, Chile; Bogota, Colombia; and Sao Paulo, Brazil.
