Socialite Kim Lim, who is the daughter of Singaporean billionaire Peter Lim, announced on Wednesday (Aug 7) that she's pregnant with her second child. Lim posted a video of a gender reveal-cum-birthday party she held in Bangkok, Thailand, and wrote in the caption: "Been waiting for this moment for a very long while and couldn’t be happier to have my loved ones by my side for this."
The video shows Lim and her friends marvelling at a drone show and grand fireworks display. The gender of Lim's baby was not shown in the video she posted. Amongst the party's attendees were Titan Digital Media CEO Jianhao Tan and entrepreneur Jordus Lim.
According to the party's planner, The Atelier & Co founder Lelian Chew, Lim's party was the "world’s biggest and Asia’s first drone gender reveal".
As part of the festivities, Lim also announced that she would be supporting new mothers because they "deserve only the best after months of carrying (their) little ones". Those who are giving birth from now till January 2025 can redeem four gift vouchers, worth up to S$988, for products and treatments under Kim Lim's brands: Illumia and Papilla.
Additionally, single mothers can also redeem a baby care kit comprising baby wet wipes, diapers and milk powder.
