Ed Sheeran wasn't the only one who gave props to a Singaporean musician over the weekend with his surprise guest JJ Lin. When K-pop group Stayc thrilled fans at their first concert in Singapore at The Star Theatre on Friday (Feb 16), they included a rendition of homegrown singer-songwriter Sezairi's It's You.

As part of their world tour Teenfresh, the girl group said they had prepared a “really famous” song to surprise their Singapore fans.

The hit song It’s You by Singaporean singer-songwriter Sezairi has amassed over 100 million streams on Spotify. Released in 2018, it is a platinum record in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, as well as a gold in Taiwan.

The local singer, who was the first local artist to have achieved such a feat, took to X to share the Stayc’s cover, writing “SICKKKKKK”.

Meanwhile, Stayc, which debuted in 2020 and consists of Sumin, Sieun, Isa, Seeun, Yoon, and J, shared on Instagram that they spent time at Marina Bay Sands.
