Matthew Perry is last Friends star to join Instagram – is a reunion happening soon?
The actor who played Chandler Bing on the hit TV show hasn't even made his first post but already has 1.3 million followers.
Could he be any later? Matthew Perry has finally joined Instagram, the last of the Friends stars to do so.
The actor who played Chandler Bing on the hit TV show is already on Twitter but his foray onto Instagram has been met with fanfare.
Friends co-star Lisa Kudrow celebrated the occasion by posting a photo of their much younger selves with the funny caption: "Finally!!! Yay!! Can't believe my eyes MY EYES. Welcome to Instagram @mattyperry4 #friendsforlife."
Fellow Friends stars Courteney Cox commented, "Yes Matty!!!" while Jennifer Aniston wrote, "Yay Matty! Could you TAKE any longer?"
The 50-year-old Perry hasn’t made his first post but his account already has 1.3 million followers.
This comes a day after he tweeted the mysterious message “Big news coming” on Wednesday, leading fans to speculate that the long-hoped-for reunion might finally be happening.
There’s no confirmation as yet on that front, though. In fact, the show’s creator, Marta Kaufman, said just last month during the Producers Guild Awards in Los Angeles that she didn’t know if a reboot would ever happen.
She said: “I don’t know. That is the honest answer, I don’t know. People are talking about it, but I don’t know if it’s actually going to happen.”
Jennifer Aniston, who played Rachel Green on the show, is another recent Instagram user, only joining the platform in October last year.
