K-pop group NewJeans has finally announced the ETA for their very first appearance in Singapore as a group. The quintet – which comprises Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin and Hyein – will be in town on Saturday (Feb 3) as part of Nike's Member Days.
NewJeans will be performing at a closed-door event held at the new Nike Orchard Road. However, members of the public will have the opportunity to catch them live at this event simply by following these steps.
1. Download the Nike app on your mobile devices
2. Join Nike's free membership
3. Head to the app on Jan 30 and answer the question: "Tell us why you are the biggest NewJeans fan."
A few winners will be selected to join the event. They will also get first dibs on Nike's Air Max 90 LV8.
NewJeans fans who aren't selected need not fret as they can still get their hands on the limited edition Nike By You x NewJeans collection at Nike Orchard Road from Jan 30 to Feb 4.
NewJeans burst onto the scene in July 2022 with their singles Attention and Hype Boy, which topped multiple Korean music charts. A few months later, they were propelled to worldwide stardom through their viral songs Ditto and OMG, which went number one in countries such as Singapore, Indonesia and Vietnam.
They followed up on their success with the hit EP Get Up which produced the viral hits Super Shy and ETA. The members of NewJeans have also made their mark in the fashion industry, working with the likes of Levi's, Gucci and Burberry.
