Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas on the Met Gala, planning for a family
The Jonas, who wed last December, will return to the Met Gala red carpet, two years after they were first photographed together at the ball. The couple is looking forward to starting a family and picking projects they can share with their kids one day.
Ready for a little Jonas? Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra Jonas are planning for a family, reported E! News.
The couple, who wed four months ago in an elaborate wedding in India, are looking forward to starting a family and picking projects that they can share with their kids one day, said Jonas.
"I think that in everything we do, you know, my brothers and I, Priyanka and I, everything we do we think about the future," Jonas told E! News at the junket for his upcoming animated film, UglyDolls. "And building something that becomes a part of a legacy in some way, and a story we can share with our kids in the future."
"That's everything from the music to projects that we align ourselves with and, maybe some of the projects that are more adult-themed we'll hold those back 'til they get older obviously," Jonas continued. "But with something like [UglyDolls], it's just a joy to be able to do this for the kids in general."
The couple are set to appear on the Met Gala red carpet in May, two years after they first ignited dating rumours when they posed for photos together at the event.
"That was one of our first dates...but it wasn't even really a date, I don't know how to describe it," Jonas, who will serve on this year's Met Gala committee with his wife, told E! News. "That's kind of an important thing for us, the Met Gala, historically speaking, so to be on the committee this year is great."
The committee, which also includes Lena Waithe, Katy Perry, Jared Leto, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez, is overseen by Vogue editor Anna Wintour.
Themed Notes on Camp, the 2019 Met Gala will explore how fashion has employed tones of theatricality, humour and exaggeration to create over-the-top designs. The benefit is scheduled to take place on May 6 (May 7 Singapore time).
