Chris Noth has been cut from the season finale of And Just Like That…, the sequel to the hit TV series, Sex And The City, according to media reports from Wednesday (Jan 5).

Noth, who appeared in the first episode of the season, was to have made a cameo in the finale as part of a flashback scene where his character, Mr Big, would reunite with Carrie (played by Sarah Jessica Parker) during her visit to Paris.

HBO Max did not comment on the matter.

The cut is the latest fallout Noth is facing following allegations of sexual assault.

Several women have come forward to say that Noth had sexually assaulted them in the past. The 67-year-old denied the claims, stating that they are “categorically false”. He said the encounters were “consensual” and he questioned the timing of the allegations, which began after his appearance on the first episode of the series revival.

His co-stars – Parker, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon – recently issued a statement on Twitter to express their support for the victims.

Noth was also recently dropped from TV series The Equalizer, where he played a former CIA director.

The And Just Like That… finale will air on Feb 3.
