Post Malone, Jackson Wang and Robbie Williams are among the first wave of performers announced for this year's Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix, which will take place from Sep 15 to 17.

According to the Tuesday (Apr 18) announcement, Grammy-nominated singer Post Malone will perform on Sep 16, while British pop star Robbie Williams will take to the stage on Sep 17.

Wang will be performing on the first day – Sep 15 – alongside acts from American-Asian record label 88rising, including Rich Brian, NIKI and Warren Hue, with more names from the collective to be revealed at a later date.

All acts that have just been announced will perform at the Zone 4 Padang Stage.

More acts are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

Last year's event saw the likes of Green Day, Black Eyed Peas, Westlife and The Kid Laroi performing.

Tickets for this year's race are already on sale and can be purchased here, with the cheapest option going at S$128 for a single-day ticket.

Organisers said on Monday that due to strong demand for tickets, two new grandstands will be introduced for the event.

They also said 12 ticket categories have already sold out or are selling fast.
