The artistes performing at this year's Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix were announced on Thursday (Jul 25) – and we might have just found our answer as to why OneRepublic has a song called Singapore on its new album.

The celebrated pop-rock group will be performing on Sep 20 – the very first night of this year's F1 event. In addition to the Apologise hitmakers, other global acts will be electrifying the stage from Sep 20 to 22.

Lenny Kravitz fans should clear out their schedules on Sep 22 as the Grammy Award-winning singer is set to hold his first-ever performance in Singapore.

K-pop fans will also have something to look forward to as BabyMonster will return to Singapore, months after the group's highly-successful fan meeting here. Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Ahyeon, Rami, Rora and Chiquita are set to batter up at the Padang Stage on Sep 21.
