Snoop Dogg – America’s biggest cheerleader at Paris Olympics
He’s here, he’s there, he’s everywhere cheering Team USA on.

All eyes may be on US gymnast Simone Biles at the Paris Olympics but there’s another American who’s been stealing the limelight on the sidelines.
Rapper-turned-sports-commentator Snoop Dogg is the latest sporting talent to watch since becoming NBC’s special Olympics correspondent – post-torch bearing duty, of course.
Snoop’s latest appearance is turning up at the equestrian event in breeches, dressage tailcoat and riding helmet alongside BFF and celebrity chef Martha Stewart.
His presence was said to have created a buzz at the Chateau de Versailles venue. “I didn't get to meet him, but of course, the talk of the stables was that he was here and everyone was looking for him on the camera. It's great he's enjoying dressage and he was here,” British rider Carl Hester told Daily Mail.

And if Americans didn’t care much about badminton, his inner monologue during the US and China men’s doubles sure got their attention. "As you see, it don’t stop ’til the casket drop,” he said. “They rocking and rolling. Back and forth. Give me that. No, I need that. Nope, over here. No, over there. What about over there? Nope. What about over there? Nope.
“Give me that. I need that. That too. Nope, sit down somewhere. Wait a minute. Way up in the sky. Now down. Back up. Over there. Now over here. Get out the way. Move. I told you. We need that.”
The Drop It Like It’s Hot rapper also brought smiles and grooves to Team USA’s women gymnastics team during a qualifying round. Dancing while decked out in his trademark sunglasses and a white Team USA jacket, he later revealed his Biles T-shirt under the jacket. And you know you have an instant meme when the grand-daddy of rap lifted his sunglasses and showed his wide-eyed astonishment at Biles’ performance.
Elsewhere in Paris, he has cheered on tennis player Coco Gauff, volleyball player Kelly Cheng and skateboarders Jagger Eaton and Nyjah Huston, among others.
Snoop’s participation isn’t limited to cheerleading. He has also participated in a promotional judo event where he was awarded an honorary black belt. More famously – and hilariously – he got into the pool with swimming legend Michael Phelps but not before dropping his American flag robe to reveal Snoop Dogg swim trunks.
The creator of Doggyland is enjoying his sports moments. "I'm the biggest kid in the crowd," he said on Nightly News.
