Here are some of the activities you can expect at the three-day festival:

1. PERFORMANCES AND GAME BOOTHS BY J-POP ARTISTES

Enjoy live performances of your favourite anime songs on all three days of World X Fest 2023 Japan Edition. J-pop artistes, such as Yayoi Daimon and Akko Gorrilla, will be singing songs from hit shows such as One Piece, Naruto and Sailor Moon.

Some of these artistes will also man game booths at specific times, offering fans autograph sessions and the opportunity to snag attractive prizes such as CDs and exclusive T-shirts.

2. DON DON DONKI FOOD STALLS

3. COSPLAY CONTEST WITH ATTRACTIVE PRIZES

To celebrate the inaugural festival, organisers will launching an original mascot called Tora-Q which draws inspiration from the shiba-inu dog, the maneki-neko cat and stone statues commonly found in Japan.

There will be a thematic cosplay competition on Sep 30 where participants can showcase their creativity by reinterpreting Tora-Q. The top three winners will each win a 10D8N trip to Tokyo for two people and the first-place winner will even walk away with S$1,000.
