Looking for something new to do this weekend? You can head to Zouk to watch a movie.
The Zouk Cinema Club opens to the public on Friday (Oct 30) where guests can expect curated bimonthly themed nights with screenings of newly released films and cult classics.
The inaugural theme is For The Love of Music. For this, Zouk’s main room has been transformed into the cobbled streets of Montmartre in 1899. With a replica of the famous Red Mill, guests will feel like they’ve been transported to the Moulin Rouge.

Two movies will be screened each night starting at 6.30pm and these will be changed on a weekly basis, according to a Zouk spokesperson.
Movies under the For The Love of Music theme will be Moulin Rouge, Grease, The Greatest Showman and other musical films.
However, this week, guests will be treated to The Sixth Sense and The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Entry to the cinema club will be through the purchase of packages, which starts from S$75 for one to two people for a Wednesday evening screening and comes with a jug of house pour spirits or Zouk's signature Long Island tea. A group of three to five people will need to pay S$350 for screenings that take place on Thursdays to Saturdays. This comes with a bottle of Moet and a bottle of Belvedere vodka.
Sofas and tables have been set up for the screening with eight tables that can accommodate three to five people, and six tables that can accommodate two people.
Only a total of 50 people will be allowed per evening.

Moviegoers can also enjoy food from brand partners, including Garrett Popcorn, while watching the films.
The cinema club will run four nights a week – Wednesdays to Saturdays – from 6pm to 10.30pm and it’ll only be open to patrons above the age of 18.
A TraceTogether token or app is required for entry into Zouk Cinema Club.
The cinema club is one of several new initiatives introduced by Zouk Group to mitigate the effects of COVID-19 on the nightlife industry.
Zouk’s main room now also doubles as a spin studio, in partnership with Absolute Cycle, where riders can take part in a high-intensity spin class. The classes run seven days a week with 12 classes daily from Sundays to Thursdays and between eight and 10 classes from Wednesdays to Saturdays.
The nightlife group also transformed its premium Capital lounge space into a pop-up restaurant called Capital Kitchen in August. The dining space is open from Wednesdays to Saturdays.
