ZoukOut Singapore returns to Sentosa in December after three-year hiatus

Held at Siloso Beach across two days (Dec 2 and 3), this 2022 edition is organised by Zouk Group, in a first-time partnership with AEG, producers of world-renowned Coachella.

Asia’s longest running dance music festival, ZoukOut is officially making its comeback. After a three-year-hiatus from 2019 to 2021, the dusk-to-dawn dance festival will return to Siloso Beach Sentosa in Singapore this December.

Held across two days (Dec 23), this year’s theme is billed as “The Futuristic City of Dreams”, which promises to “take party-goers on a journey that transcends time into a future of make-believe”.

Zouk Group will be partnering with AEG – producers of world-renowned music festival Coachella – for the first time, to bring this year’s event back to life.

"The monumental return of ZoukOut not only brings back the biggest beloved dance music festival set on Singapore’s shores, it also marks the return of entertainment on a grand scale, and further establishes the Zouk Group as a global lifestyle destination group,” said Andrew Li, CEO of Zouk Group.

“Partnering with world-renowned AEG, who brings an incomparable international festival experience, enables us to take ZoukOut to another level, now and for many years to come."

Said Adam Wilkes, president and CEO, AEG Asia Pacific: “ZoukOut will be an amazing experience with two nights of unforgettable entertainment and world class DJs at one of the most beautiful locations in Singapore.”

ZoukOut first started out 22 years ago in Singapore with 8,000 party attendees and grew to a peak of 50,000 festival goers in 2014.

Numbers have fluctuated over the years, with the 2018 edition seeing a drop to 20,000 in attendance.

Since its inception, ZoukOut has continuously brought in an A-list pool of international acts to helm the decks with legendary names including Ferry Corsten, Paul van Dyk, Sasha, Tiesto, and the young superstars Alan Walker, Martin Garrix and Zedd. Additional notable names that have conquered the festival stage include Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Afrojack, Andrew Rayel, Hardwell, Paul Kalkbrenner, Skrillex and Steve Aoki.

Organisers say the return of ZoukOut 2022 promises top-notch local, regional and global acts, a full-fledged festival ground with a food village, experience booths, custom installations, roving acts and spectacular stage designs.

Ticket prices and the full DJ lineup have not been announced.
