People's Association is set to launch its first Passion Wave outpost in Bayfront in 2025. There are currently six Passion Wave facilities throughout Singapore, each providing affordable water recreational activities.

The upcoming Bayfront outpost will offer kayaking, pedal boating and dragon boating amid stunning views of the bay. It will also be the first water sports satellite facility in the Marina Bay waterfront promenade vicinity.

In the lead-up to the new outpost, PA Passion Wave is hosting its inaugural Amazing Race on Saturday (Sep 14) which will feature orienteering and dragon boating as a sneak peek of the activities that will be on offer in the future.

Senior Minister of State for Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Manpower Zaqy Mohamad said in a statement: "The new PA Passion Wave Outpost @ Bayfront is an exciting development that will add vibrancy and transform Marina Bay into a ‘People’s Bay’.

"We are creating a dynamic space where Singaporeans from all walks of life across Singapore, including those working in the business district, will have direct access to recreational activities such as kayaking and dragon boating in these waters. By making our iconic waterfront accessible, we are not just adding a new facility – we are creating opportunities for community bonding and active lifestyles in the heart of the city."
