Out with the old and in with the new? French fashion giant Louis Vuitton has done the complete opposite, kicking off 2024 by bringing back the much-loved Monogram Vernis and Monogram Denim collections.

The shiny Monogram Vernis collection debuted in 2000 and immediately caught the favour of celebrities like Rihanna and Paris Hilton.

The Monogram Denim, not to be confused with the pixelated version brought forth by Louis Vuitton menswear honcho Pharrell Williams for his debut in June 2023, came along five years later.

Dubbed the LV Remix, both collections will consist of leather goods, shoes and accessories built upon its Y2K legacy. Think cute little bags like the Croissant from 2002, the perpetually sold out Nano Speedy and the Pochette Hills.

New silhouettes including the Capucines East-West, the Twist West and the Twist Little will also be added.

In true Y2K style, the LV Remix campaign is fronted by friends of the house Phoebe Dynevor of Bridgeton fame, Taiwanese actress Nana Ouyang, Shay Mitchell and Lous and the Yakuza.

The collection dropped on Monday (Jan 1).
