Sandara Park of defunct Kpop girl group 2NE1 will be in Singapore next Tuesday (Mar 12) to unveil Kate Spade’s first ever global pop-up shop at ION Orchard, in celebration of Nicola Glass’ first collection for the fashion brand.

Since 2NE1’s disbandment in 2016, Dara, as she is known to fans, has kept busy with appearances on variety shows and television dramas. 

In December 2017, she performed her old group's hits all by herself in a solo headlining concert held in the Philippines, where she resided for more than a decade.

The Singapore event will also feature Indonesia actress Jessica Mila, Malaysia actress Juliana Evans, and Mediacorp artiste Rebecca Lim.

Located on the first level of ION Orchard, the 12 sq m spade-shaped pop-up space will be open from Mar 11 to 24.

The pop-up features the Kate Spade ready-to-wear collection, as well as an assortment of bags, small leather goods, accessories and jewellery. 

In celebration of the launch, the pop-up will feature a limited-edition Southeast Asia bag which can be personalised in-store on Mar 15 and 16.

Retailing for S$640, the Amelia Spade Flower Medium Shoulder Bag in pale gold is “crafted using a distinctive 3D printed emboss technique developed with an Italian tannery”.

Customers can also personalise their luggage tag on Kate Spade’s website and collect them at the pop-up store from Mar 15, following the launch of the Unlock Your Heart campaign.
