South Korean musician HyunA is the newest global brand ambassador for Spanish luxury fashion house Loewe. This was announced by the brand on Tuesday (Jul 13).

The 29-year-old expressed gratitude at her newest appointment. “Becoming a global brand ambassador for Loewe is truly an amazing honour for me. I am very much looking forward to our upcoming projects for this beautiful brand,” she said.

The South Korean singer-songwriter and rapper – whose real name is Kim Hyun-Ah – is a powerhouse in the K-pop industry. She made her debut in 2007 and was part of popular girl groups Wonder Girls and 4Minute before going solo.

Known for her vibrant and colourful sense of style, HyunA joins English actor Josh O’Connor (he played Prince Charles in Netflix’s The Crown), who is also an ambassador for the brand.

“I am thrilled to welcome HyunA to the Loewe family,” said Jonathan Anderson, the brand's Creative Director. “Very much looking forward to this exciting partnership and working closely together.”

Earlier this year, Kim released her latest hit solo album titled I’m Not Cool, which has topped the charts of major Korean streaming platforms and the iTunes’ worldwide album chart.
