Korean celebrity couple Lee Dong-gun, Jo Yoon-hee split up after three years of marriage
Divorce proceedings for the former co-stars went through on May 22.

The Gentlemen Of Wolgyesu Tailor Shop co-stars Lee Dong-gun and Jo Yoon-hee have split up.
Jo’s agency, King Kong By Starship, released a statement saying that the divorce arbitration proceedings took place on May 22 at the Seoul Family Court.
It continued: “As we deliver this sudden news, we ask for the understanding of those who congratulated the couple and cheered on their marriage. Jo Yoon Hee will work hard in order to greet you in the future through good activities.”
Lee, who is 39, also released a statement on the matter through his agency FNC Entertainment.
“First, we would like to express our regret at having to convey this unfortunate news to fans who love Lee Dong-gun. Lee Dong-gun reached the decision of divorce after serious contemplation, and on May 22, he completed the divorce arbitration proceedings at the Seoul Family Court,” it said. “We apologise for causing concern to many, and (Lee) will work harder to give a better impression as an actor.”
The couple got married three years ago after meeting on the 2016 TV show. They registered their marriage in May 2017 before having the ceremony in September.
According to Korean entertainment portal Dispatch, the 37-year-old Jo has received custody of their daughter, who was born in Dec 2017.
Lee is reportedly gearing up for his casting in the upcoming film Come Back Home, reported Soompi. If it does come to fruition, it will be his first film in theatres since 2007’s Love Now.
