In a show of support for migrant workers in Singapore, Pizza Hut announced on Thursday (Apr 30) that it will be donating 3,000 pizzas to these workers who have been significantly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The number was increased from the original plan to donate 2,000 pizzas.

With these 3,000 personal pan pizzas, Pizza Hut said they hoped to “provide a helping hand and show love to the community”.

The deliveries will be made on Friday during the Labour Day holiday.

“Through this initiative, we would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to the migrant workers for their hard work and contribution to Singapore: THANK You, Stay Safe & Stay Strong!” the company said in a statement.

Pizza Hut has also recently partnered with taxi company ComfortDelGro as a new delivery option. This is to help provide additional income to the drivers during this challenging time.
