Miss heading to the theatre for a performance? You can now watch local shows online
Catch performances from Singapore theatre companies such as Wild Rice's Emily Of Emerald Hill and Pangdemonium's Falling.

You can still enjoy theatre performances from the comfort of your own couch. With circuit breaker measures now extended, some local theatre groups have taken to putting their content online in order to keep audiences engaged.
Pangdemonium announced on Wednesday (Apr 22) that they will be uploading a video recording of their 2016 play Falling. The video will be made available on Vimeo for free from 8pm on Apr 24 to 11.59pm on Apr 26, so you have the weekend to catch it.
Wild Rice has also joined the online sphere, with the group putting several titles on YouTube for free over the next few weeks. Starting from Apr 24, you can catch shows such as Emily Of Emerald Hill, Supervision and Monkey Goes West.
The group will also be hosting a live talkback session every Thursday at 9pm for viewers to discuss the shows, with the first one on Apr 30.
Meanwhile, The Necessary Stage hosted its very own online watch party for Those Who Can’t, Teach. The watch party is already over but you can still catch a video-on-demand recording of the play on Vimeo until Apr 30.
Nine Years Theatre has put their shows on YouTube, with screenings each week for a different production. The current production is Lear Is Dead, which will be available for viewing until Apr 29. You’ll have to check in weekly, however, as the recordings will be taken off once the week is complete.
