Japan’s largest summer music festival will be held online this year on Aug 29, with some of the performances free to watch.
Japan’s largest summer music festival, a-nation, is going online with more than 50 acts set to perform at the Aug 29 event.
Expect to catch big-name stars, including Japan’s own Ayumi Hamasaki, as well as top K-pop groups like Red Velvet, SuperM, Super Junior and EXO-SC.
The festival will be divided into five stages. Performances on the Blue, Green and Yellow stages will be ticketed while you can catch the acts performing on the Purple and White stages for free.
The free performances will be streamed on Avex’s official YouTube channel and Line account. Avex is the biggest independent record label in Japan and they first organised this festival in 2002.
Tickets cost S$65 and you can get them here. You'll receive the URL link and password to watch the live broadcast after you've purchased your ticket.
