KidZania Singapore reopens on May 16 with interactive experiences like making bubble tea, firefighting and fashion styling

Here's some good news for the parents out there: Interactive indoor theme park KidZania Singapore is finally reopening on Thursday, May 16 – with plenty of time to spare before the June school holidays. The theme park shut its doors in 2020, due to the pandemic, and has now been revived with over 40 branded establishments – spanning 7,600 sq m across two levels.

KidZania Singapore is now managed by Sim Leisure Group which has created 300 international theme park projects worldwide.

Modelled as an interactive city, KidZania Singapore allows children up to age 17 to learn and have fun by roleplaying with over 70 careers. Some of the experiences that will be available include a fashion studio with styling classes by H&M, banking and learning about financial literacy with CIMB Singapore, firefighting by the Singapore Civil Defence Force and flying an airplane by Malaysia Airlines.

Participants can also engage in roles such as a snacks confectioner at the Irvins Snacks Factory, a baker at Kith cafe or bubble tea maker at Tea Social Cafe.

Tickets can be purchased from May 13 via KidZania's website, with prices starting at S$41 (US$30). Visitors can use the promo code <KZ1605> to enjoy 50 per cent off all tickets for visits up till May 31.

In a press statement, Sim Leisure Group's Executive Director Silviya Georgieva said: "We are thrilled to reopen KidZania Singapore with an expanded line-up of partners and role-play experiences. Our goal is to provide children with an immersive learning environment where they can explore various professions, develop essential life skills, and have fun while doing so."
