Korean actress Kang Sora, who’s best known for her role in K-dramas like Revolutionary Love and Doctor Stranger, is tying the knot at the end of this month.

The news was confirmed by her agency, Plum Actors, on Monday (Aug 17), and Kang herself has written a note to her fans on her fan site to tell them the good news on the same day.

In her personal message, the 30-year-old Kang shared that she had “found a good person to spend the rest of my life with.”

She thanked her fans for their congratulatory messages and for the support they had given her since she debuted 11 years ago.

She added: “I will work hard to show a happy married life and many more sides as an actress so that I can return (what I’ve received) to all of you who believe in and support me. Please continue to watch over me.”

According to the note from her representatives, Kang’s wedding to her “older non-celebrity boyfriend” was supposed to happen on Aug 29 but it had to be cancelled because of the worsening COVID-19 situation.

Instead, the couple will just have a small ceremony with their direct families.

The statement added that no further details will be given, in consideration of her future husband’s non-celebrity status.

Kang was previously in a relationship with another celebrity, Crash Landing On You actor Hyun Bin, but they broke up in 2017 after a year together.
