If you're a parent who's had to endure yells of "skibidi", "skibidi rizz" or "you're so skibidi, you’re so Fanum tax" in your household, you might want to take a deep breath and sit down for this. Popular machinima web series Skibidi Toilet is set to make the transition from YouTube to the big screen, reported US media outlet Variety.

Shepherding this development are director Michael Bay and former president of Paramount Pictures Adam Goodman.

The series, which has caught Generation Alpha children in a chokehold, centres around a battle between the titular Skibidi Toilets – human-headed toilets – and a group of beings with electrical appliances for heads.

The first episode of Skibidi Toilet was uploaded on February 2023 and has since led to a pop culture phenomenon with subsequent videos hitting over 50 million views on YouTube.

In an episode of Variety’s Strictly Business podcast, Goodman spoke about his decision to develop Skibidi Toilet as a TV and film franchise.

"There's a real separation of dichotomy between those who get [Skibidi Toilet] and those who don't. Our mission has been to convert the uncovertable. To surprise and subvert their expectations...We believe it's something that could be generational."
