Veteran South Korean boy group Super Junior sent fans to tears and cheers on Sunday (May 26) during member Ryeowook's wedding with Ari, a former member of girl group Tahiti.

The wedding saw the reunion of all 15 former and current members of Super Junior's main group and sub-units â€“ a feat most fans thought was impossible given the circumstances behind some of the members' departures.

On the day of the wedding, Lee Sung-soo – the chief A&R officer of SM Entertainment (Super Junior's agency) – uploaded an Instagram story featuring the 15 members posing for a photo together. The members are:

  1. Leeteuk
  2. Heechul
  3. Yesung
  4. Shindong
  5. Sungmin
  6. Eunhyuk
  7. Siwon
  8. Donghae
  9. Ryeowook
  10. Kyuhyun
  11. Hangeng
  12. Kangin
  13. Kibum
  14. Zhou Mi
  15. Henry

Of the 15, Hangeng, Kangin and Kibum have left the group. Zhou Mi and Henry, on the other hand, are part of Super Junior-M â€“ a sub-unit of Super Junior that focuses on the Chinese market.

Out of the 10 remaining members, Sungmin has been on an indefinite hiatus from the group. This means that there are currently only nine active members in Super Junior.

Fans have since speculated that because of these unique circumstances, the members of Super Junior took various photos with different permutations on the wedding day.

A picture posted on South Korean online forum Theqoo showed the 13 original members of Super Junior posing for a separate photo.

In clips posted on social media, the nine active members of Super Junior can be seen posing and cheering for another photo.

According to attendees, the 15 members of Super Junior performed the group's classic hit Sorry, Sorry at the ceremony. SES member Bada was also reportedly in attendance and sang a song for the newlyweds.

Besides Ryeowook and Ari, May 26 also saw the weddings of other famous couples in the South Korean entertainment industry.

Train To Busan star Ma Dong-seok held a wedding ceremony with model Ye Jung-hwa years after registering their marriage.

MBLAQ member Thunder also married Gugudan member Mimi in a ceremony which saw his sister Sandara Park performing.

Super Junior is set to perform in Singapore on Jul 14.
