Heading Down Under for a holiday? You will soon have more flight options to choose from as Jetstar is set to launch direct flight services from Singapore to Perth in 2024.

Starting from August 2024, Jetstar will fly up to six times a week between Singapore and Perth.

Jetstar will also launch direct flights to Perth from two other Asian cities: Bangkok from September 2024 and Phuket from August 2024.

To celebrate the announcement of the new routes, the low-cost airline is launching a “Hello Perth” sale on jetstar.com from Dec 19 at 10am with one-way fares from Singapore to Perth starting from S$116. The sale ends on Dec 22 at 11.59pm unless sold out prior.

One-way sale fares from Bangkok to Perth start from 3,935 baht (S$148) while one-way sale fares from Phuket to Perth start from 4,143 baht.

According to Jetstar, the flights will be operated using the quieter and more fuel-efficient Airbus A321neo LRs (NEO), with up to four of the new aircraft to be based at Perth Airport.

Travellers can also look forward to more direct return flights from Singapore, Phuket and Bangkok to Melbourne starting from June 2024 during peak times.

The Singapore to Melbourne leg will see an increase from up to six return flights per week currently to up to daily return flights.

The Bangkok to Melbourne as well as the Phuket to Melbourne flights will both increase from up to three return flights per week currently, to five return flights per week.

Stephanie Tully, Jetstar Group CEO, said in a press release that Jetstar was seeing strong demand for international flights as customers continued to prioritise air travel.

“Perth remains incredibly popular with international tourists, famous for its incredible beaches, vineyards and natural wonders, while Melbourne remains a firm favourite, renown for being the Australian capital for sport, art and world-renowned coffee.”
